The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced the allocation of $249,997 to the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians. The funding, provided through HHS's Center for Mental Health Services, is aimed at addressing substance abuse treatment, prevention, and mental health within the community.
Senator Cramer commented on the award: "This grant will provide essential resources to support the mental health and well-being of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians."
