FAA awards over $6.6 million to North Dakota airports

The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced the allocation of $6,699,627 through the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) for various projects at airports across North Dakota.

The funding will be distributed as follows:

- $3,963,337 to Hector International Airport

- $1,086,796 to North Dakota for updating its state and regional system plan

- $481,761 to Robert Odegaard Field Airport

- $450,000 to Mandan Regional Airport - Lawler Field

- $365,573 to Walhalla Municipal Airport

- $247,500 to Jamestown Regional Airport

- $104,660 to Dickinson-Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport

The FAA's AIP provides funding to airports nationwide for planning, capital improvements, and safety enhancement projects.
