Senator John Hoeven issued a statement in honor of Independence Day 2024.
"On the Fourth of July, we commemorate the Declaration of Independence and celebrate the birth of our great nation. For almost 250 years, our nation has stood as a beacon of freedom. Today, and every day, we are grateful for the many blessings and opportunities we enjoy as Americans. We live in the greatest country in the world, with freedoms and liberties like no other, which are secured throughout the generations by our Armed Forces, and we must not take that for granted. Mikey and I wish everyone a safe and happy Independence Day. God bless."
