FAA awards over $1.2 million to North Dakota airports

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced the allocation of $750,897 through the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) to North Dakota for updating an existing airport system plan.

Additionally, the FAA has awarded a total of $519,629 through the Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) Program. This program was established by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to provide airports with funding for modernization and safety projects. The allocated funds will support various projects and initiatives in North Dakota:

- $447,629 to the Kindred-Davenport Regional Airport Authority for constructing a new 490-foot taxilane and a 383-foot access road.

- $72,000 to the Crosby Airport Authority for constructing a new 1,600 square foot building for snow removal equipment and sand storage, ensuring conformity with current standards.
