WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has allocated over $3.2 million to support healthcare initiatives in North Dakota. The funding comes as part of the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Health Center Cluster grant program, aimed at bolstering community health centers nationwide.
The grant award, totaling $3,262,046, will be channeled into vital healthcare programs in the state. Specifically, Northland Health Partners Community in Turtle Lake is set to receive $1,801,916, while Family Healthcare Center in Fargo will benefit from $1,460,130. These allocations underscore the federal government's commitment to enhancing healthcare services at the local level.
In a statement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, it was noted that "$1,801,916 to Northland Health Partners Community in Turtle Lake" and "$1,460,130 to Family Healthcare Center in Fargo" have been approved under this grant program. This funding injection is expected to significantly contribute to improving access to quality healthcare for residents in North Dakota.
