U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) strongly criticized the Biden administration's immigration policies, labeling them as a "clear dereliction of duty" that has worsened the crisis at the southern border. Senator Cramer, along with U.S. Senator Rick Scott (R-FL), led a resolution denouncing the administration's approach to border security. He expressed his concern, stating, “Under Joe Biden's presidency, his administration has not just neglected but deliberately dismantled our border defenses, embracing a disastrous 'come one, come all, secure never' policy."

Senator Scott also voiced his disapproval, highlighting the significant increase in illegal crossings at the southwest border under President Biden's watch. He emphasized that the administration's open border policies have encouraged millions of illegal immigrants, including criminal elements and suspected terrorists, to enter the country unlawfully. Senator Scott criticized President Biden and Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas for failing to take decisive action to secure the border, despite having the necessary authority to do so.
