U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) appeared on "Fox & Friends" to provide an update on the bipartisan border security deal and discuss aid for Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan. During the interview, Senator Cramer also addressed the recent drone attack in Jordan that resulted in the deaths of three United States servicemembers.

Senator Cramer expressed concern over the escalating drone attacks, stating, "The swiftness of the response is part of the projection of strength we need, and it's already too late to do it swiftly." He emphasized the importance of having predetermined targets to respond quickly and effectively. He added, "Right now, our weakness is the very thing that's escalating this war."

Regarding the response to Iran, Senator Cramer criticized the Secretary of Defense and the Commander in Chief for projecting weakness. He stated, "Our Secretary of Defense… works for a commander in chief who is even worse, who is even harder to understand and who I think is very, very weak."

Turning to the border security legislation, Senator Cramer highlighted the need to carefully examine the text of the bill. He emphasized the importance of every word and how it relates to other parts of the law, stating, "All of these things will determine whether or not the aspirations and the goals and the good intentions of the negotiators are actually reflected in the words themselves." He expressed concern that rushing to a vote could undermine confidence in the process and urged for a thorough review before making judgments.

On the issue of Ukraine funding, Senator Cramer called for a focus on supporting efforts to combat Vladimir Putin and his military. He suggested stripping provisions unrelated to fighting the war and stated, "I think the humanitarian aid and the other things need to be supported by the neighborhood in Europe." He criticized the slow rollout of assistance to Ukraine, stating that if they had received the necessary resources earlier, the war may have ended sooner.

In conclusion, Senator Cramer provided insights on various topics, including the drone attack in Jordan, the response to Iran, the border security legislation, and Ukraine funding. His remarks highlighted the need for swift and decisive action, strong leadership, and careful consideration of legislation to address these critical issues.
