North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum recently announced that he will not be seeking a third term as governor. In response to this news, U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) issued a statement expressing his appreciation for Governor Burgum's service and his excitement to continue working with him in the future.

Senator Cramer praised Burgum as an individual who is not afraid to be his own person, stating, "No one could ever say Doug Burgum isn't his own person. He has served North Dakota very well. I've been honored to work with him these last several years, and I look forward to working with him a lot more." The senator also acknowledged Burgum's right to take a break or seek a promotion, emphasizing that whatever he chooses to do, he will be successful at it, as he always does things his own way.

Senator Cramer expressed his gratitude for Governor Burgum's dedication to causes bigger than himself, saying, "It will be for a cause bigger than himself. For that, I am grateful." He also extended his congratulations to the Governor and the First Lady on their incredible service to the people of North Dakota and wished them well in their future endeavors.
