The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development has recently awarded a total of $307,665 to various programs and initiatives in North Dakota. These funds will be used to support a range of projects across the state.

One recipient of the funding is Kidder County, which will receive $31,300. This money will be used to purchase a law enforcement vehicle, enhancing the county's ability to ensure public safety.

The City of Cooperstown has also been awarded $41,000. This funding will be used to purchase maintenance equipment and a utility vehicle, contributing to the city's infrastructure and service capabilities.

Another beneficiary is the City of Linton, which will receive $43,400. This funding will be used for the replacement of 23 street poles and street lamps, improving the community's lighting infrastructure.

The Maddock Community Historical Society has been granted $63,200 to construct a cold storage facility. This facility will provide the society with the necessary infrastructure to preserve and store historical artifacts.

The Jamestown Regional Entrepreneur Center is set to receive $63,300. This funding will be used to provide training and technical assistance to entrepreneurs and innovators in the South Central region of North Dakota, fostering economic growth and development.
