Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement.
Jamestown Stutsman Development Corporation Continues with Internship Program!
The JSDC Internship Reimbursement Program was well received in its inaugural year. Over $53,000 was approved in JSDC reimbursement funds for 16 interns from 8 colleges/universities. Nine employers participated and paid over $280,000 in wages! The Program was approved for $105,000 in funding for 2022-2023.
JSDC matches 1/2 of the payroll costs per approved intern up to a maximum reimbursement of $3,500. The Program is open to employers in Stutsman County.
The deadline for the next round of funding will be in August 2022
