Central Dakota Children's Choir issued the following announcement.
Today's Senior Feature highlights, 11-year CDCC singer, McKenna Utter. McKenna attends Legacy High School and has been singing with CDCC since she was a second grader. She plans on attending SD State University to study Human Biology with an emphasis in the Pre-Chiropractic program. She has been in swing choirs, jazz choir, and concert choirs at both Simle and Legacy. She is also a part of the Legacy Wrestling team as a student manager.
She says, “I've made so many amazing memories throughout my years of being apart of CDCC that it's just hard to pin point specific memories. Overall, just being at concerts, and practices with the friends I've made here in CDCC will stick with me forever. Singing and CDCC has greatly impacted my life. I've made such close connections with the people that have been in these choirs with me all of these years, that when I came to practices or concerts it just felt like I was going to a second home. It was always great to surround myself with the people, and the thing I love most during my week nights for the past 11 years. Thank you to all of the wonderful directors who have helped me grow not only as a singer, but as a person too. This organization changed my life forever, and I wouldn't have traded my time in CDCC for anything else in the world.
