Central Dakota Children's Choir (CDCC) issued the following announcement on April 13.
Thank you to Dakota West Arts Council for a grant to help us provide Educational Concerts to area 2nd & 3rd graders. Evidence shows that quality music education 1) equips students with foundational skills needed to learn; 2) bolsters student engagement and achievement in other academic subjects; and 3) develops abilities essential for lifelong success such as attentiveness, perseverance, creativity, self-esteem and social and cultural identity. Thanks for helping us give so many young people the gift of music!
