Union State Bank has announced that it is ready to support customers who may be affected by the ongoing federal government shutdown. The bank emphasized its commitment to assisting clients during challenging times, highlighting that staff members are part of the local community.

"At Union State Bank, the people who serve you are your neighbors and friends. We are human too, and we understand that life happens. It is important to us to understand our customers and what’s happening in their lives that may be affecting their finances," the bank stated.

To address financial concerns arising from the shutdown, Union State Bank is offering several options. These include flexible personal lending solutions, interest-only payment periods for a limited time, payment extensions or skip-a-pay opportunities, and short-term loans for qualifying individuals.

Customers seeking assistance can contact any of the bank’s lenders for guidance on available options. Appointments can be made with consumer lenders Michelle Harm in Hazen (michelleh@usbhazen.com) or Ginny Cheatley in Beulah (ginnyc@usbhazen.com), agricultural lender Kayla Palmer (kaylap@usbhazen.com), or commercial lender Kendra Finck (kendraf@usbhazen.com). The bank also encourages customers to call 701-748-2233 for more information.
