A single-vehicle crash in Fargo resulted in one fatality and two injuries early on October 26, 2025. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on the 1200 block of 10th Street North. A 2012 Dodge Journey was heading north at high speed when the driver lost control after crossing 12th Avenue North. The SUV veered off the road, hitting a parked vehicle's rear bumper before crashing into a tree.
The driver, a male, sustained serious injuries and was taken for medical treatment. One male passenger died from his injuries, while another male passenger suffered life-threatening injuries. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash to determine if restraints were used and whether charges will be filed.
The crash involved multiple agencies including the Fargo Police Department, NDSU Police Department, Fargo Fire Department, and Sanford Ambulance.
