The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is requesting further public input on its draft Public and Non-Metropolitan Local Official Participation Plan. The plan outlines how the public can be involved in statewide transportation planning and programming activities. It also serves as a guide for including non-metropolitan local officials and other interested parties in these processes.

Residents are encouraged to review the draft plan on the NDDOT website by navigating to “Construction & Planning,” then “Transportation Plans & Programs,” and selecting the link for the “DRAFT 2025 Public Non Metropolitan Local Government Official Participation Plan.”

Written feedback must be submitted by November 17, 2025. Comments should reference “Public Non-Metro Participation Plan” in either the letter heading or email subject line, and can be sent to Davin Cermak at NDDOT’s Planning and Asset Management Division, 608 East Boulevard Avenue, Bismarck, ND 58505-0700, or via email at dotplanning@nd.gov.

The department states: "The NDDOT will consider every request for reasonable accommodation to provide an accessible meeting facility or other accommodation for people with disabilities. Language interpretation and translation services will be available upon request for this meeting."
