The North Dakota Transportation Hall of Honor is now accepting nominations for its 2026 class, seeking to recognize individuals who have played a significant role in the development of the state’s transportation system. Nominations can be submitted online until November 25, 2025.
The Hall of Honor was established to acknowledge those who have made notable and lasting contributions to the highway system at state, county, or local levels. The program also aims to highlight the importance of roadways for North Dakota and its residents.
Laurie Martin, program manager, stated, “We’re looking for the changemakers who have gone above and beyond to make a lasting impact on North Dakota’s transportation system. From building safer roads to improving how we move people and goods, these individuals help drive progress and strengthen our state. The Hall of Honor is our way of celebrating their vision and leadership.”
Nominees will be evaluated based on several criteria, including major achievements in transportation within North Dakota, contributions to the development of others in the field, special service to the state in transportation activities, and actions that bring credit to North Dakota transportation on a national or international level.
