All Driver License offices and the Bismarck Motor Vehicle office operated by the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) will be closed on October 22 from noon to 5 p.m. for employee training. The department announced that other Motor Vehicle offices across the state will maintain their usual business hours.

Robin Rehborg, NDDOT deputy director for driver safety, addressed potential concerns about the closure. “We know that closing offices temporarily may inconvenience some, but we are expecting minimum service disruption,” Rehborg said. “Our online services, kiosks, and mobile app will be available and are great options to complete most transactions.”

The department is advising customers to schedule their appointments in advance to avoid any interruptions due to the temporary closure.
