The Bismarck Fire Department expressed gratitude to the community for attending its first Fire Prevention Week Open House at Fire Station 4. The event featured demonstrations, food, and activities designed to engage families, friends, and neighbors.

During the open house, attendees observed rope rescues, vehicle extrications, fire attack procedures, and search drills. The department also provided fire safety tips to those present.

A number of local sponsors contributed to the success of the event. These included Walmart, Sam’s Club, Coca-Cola, Spiffy Biff, Kirkwood Bank & Trust, Ace Towing, and Bismarck Public Works.

In a statement from the department: "The Bismarck Fire Department wants to give a big thank you to everyone who stopped by our very first Fire Prevention Week Open House at Fire Station 4! It was awesome to see so many families, friends, and neighbors come out to enjoy the demos, food, and fun."

"We loved showing you what we do — from rope rescues and vehicle extrications to fire attack and search drills — and sharing a few fire safety tips along the way. Your support and excitement made the day truly special."

"Thank you for helping us make this community event one to remember. We’re already looking forward to doing it again next year!"
