The Bismarck Fire Department has expressed its gratitude to the community following the department's first Fire Prevention Week Open House at Fire Station 4. The event attracted families, friends, and neighbors who participated in demonstrations and activities organized by firefighters.

During the open house, attendees observed various fire department operations such as rope rescues, vehicle extrications, fire attack procedures, and search drills. The department also provided fire safety tips to those present.

The fire department acknowledged several sponsors for their contributions to the event: Walmart, Sam’s Club, Coca-Cola, Spiffy Biff, Kirkwood Bank & Trust, Ace Towing, and Bismarck Public Works.

"We loved showing you what we do — from rope rescues and vehicle extrications to fire attack and search drills — and sharing a few fire safety tips along the way. Your support and excitement made the day truly special."

"We also want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing sponsors who helped make it all possible: Walmart, Sam’s Club, Coca-Cola, Spiffy Biff, Kirkwood Bank & Trust, Ace Towing, and Bismarck Public Works."
