Bismarck Historical Society to present program on fire department’s history

The Bismarck Historical Society is organizing a public program focused on the history of the Bismarck Fire Department. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in Meeting Room A at the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library, located at 515 N 5th Street.

Chris Anderson will serve as the guest presenter for this session. He will deliver a presentation that includes numerous historic photographs and key milestones related to the fire department’s past. The research for this presentation was conducted by Anderson and retired Battalion Chief Rob Carlson, covering the department's 153-year history.
