Effective October 2, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. CST, a new weight restriction has been implemented on County Road 5 (150th Ave NW) in Williams County. The affected section runs from Highway 50 north for approximately 1.25 miles to the County Line at 84th St NW. This portion of the road is now limited to a 6-ton axle weight restriction and an overall maximum gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 80,000 pounds due to ongoing road construction.
According to officials, "The 6-ton restriction signs have been posted." The restrictions will remain in place until further notice as construction continues.
