The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) has announced that the intersection at 46th Ave SE and Memorial Highway in Mandan is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, September 30. This development marks a new phase in ongoing infrastructure work along Memorial Highway.
Following this reopening, the south side of the intersection at 40th Ave SE and Memorial Highway will close starting Wednesday morning, October 1. The closure is necessary for crews to carry out substantial infrastructure improvements south of Memorial Highway on 40th Ave SE. While through traffic on Memorial Highway will remain unaffected, drivers will not be able to access southbound 40th Ave SE from Memorial Highway during this period.
The closure is expected to last about three weeks. No detour routes are planned, so motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and plan accordingly.
For additional updates and details about the project, information can be found at dot.nd.gov/memorialhwy or by following the City of Mandan and NDDOT on social media platforms.
