The Williams County Vector Control District (WCVCD) has announced plans to carry out ground adulticide treatments at several locations from September 30 to October 3, 2025. The operations will begin near sunset each evening, depending on weather and other conditions.

According to the WCVCD, DeltaGard, which contains the active ingredient Deltamethrin, will be used for these treatments. This product is approved for use in residential neighborhoods. Residents are advised to keep a minimum distance of 300 feet from vector control trucks while fogging is underway.

The district also encourages people to take measures against mosquito bites when outdoors between dusk and dawn.

Further information about spray block maps and additional details can be found by visiting the Williams County Vector Control District website.
