Chateau Road in Medora has been reduced to one-lane traffic near the railroad crossing as of Wednesday, September 24. The North Dakota Department of Transportation announced that this arrangement will continue for up to three weeks due to roadway work. Additionally, a full-day closure is scheduled for Thursday, October 2, when BNSF Railway will install new railroad track pads.
No detour routes will be marked during the closure. Flaggers will be present to guide drivers through the area, and minor delays are anticipated.
"The North Dakota Department of Transportation would like to remind motorists to slow down and use caution throughout work zones."
