Williams County restricts heavy vehicles on gravel and chip seal roads in Zones 2 and 3

Effective September 15, 2025, at 9:35 a.m. CST, all gravel and chip seal roads in Zones 2 and 3 of Williams County and its townships are now restricted to vehicles with a maximum gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 20,000 pounds. This measure is being implemented until further notice due to rain conditions affecting road integrity. All previously approved permits for these zones are now void. Authorities will continue to re-evaluate the condition of the roads throughout the day.
