Airway Avenue will be closed between Burlington Drive and Northern Plains Drive starting Monday, August 25, 2025, due to sewer line work. The closure is expected to last about one week.
During this period, detours will be in place for both eastbound and westbound traffic. Eastbound drivers are advised to take Burlington Drive north, then Morrison Avenue east, and finally Northern Plains Drive south. Westbound drivers should use Northern Plains Drive north, Morrison Avenue west, and Burlington Drive south.
The City of Bismarck announced the closure as part of scheduled infrastructure maintenance.
