A three-vehicle collision on North Dakota Highway 3 resulted in two fatalities and one serious injury on July 25, 2025. The crash occurred at mile marker 126 in Kidder County.

The incident involved a southbound Pontiac G6, driven by Matthew Yunker, which was traveling in the northbound lane. It sideswiped a Chevrolet Equinox heading north, driven by Derek Jackson.
