The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) has addressed the issue of traffic congestion on Interstate 94 in Bismarck and Mandan. A chip seal project is currently in progress, causing single lane closures on the interstate.
Efforts are being made by the NDDOT and its contractor to work overnight to adjust these lane closures. The adjustments aim to enhance traffic flow during the ongoing project.
The completion of the chip seal work is anticipated by July 25, with permanent striping set to finish by August 15. The NDDOT advises motorists to reduce speed and exercise caution while traveling through the work zone.
