The Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library is set to become a donation site for the North Dakota Department of Agriculture’s Hunger Free ND Garden Project. This initiative invites community members to share their garden produce with others. Participants are encouraged to bring extra produce, cleaned of dirt, to the library's main lobby starting Monday, July 21, 2025.

The project aims to foster community relationships and ensure that everyone has access to fresh produce. The library welcomes all individuals who wish to donate or take what they need. For further details, individuals can contact Bea Kaiser at the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library or visit the project's website.

Kevin R. Tengesdal, Public Information Specialist at the library, provided this information.
