Cass County Vector Control has announced aerial spraying operations to address increased mosquito activity in the region. The operations are scheduled for Sunday, July 13, 2025, after 8:00 PM in the cities of Fargo and West Fargo, weather permitting.
A pre-application flight is planned for the morning of July 13 at 6:30 AM to check for obstructions in the spray area. No pesticides will be applied during this survey.
In addition to aerial spraying, truck-mounted spraying will take place in rural cities and subdivisions within Cass County on Monday, July 14th after 8:30 PM.
The insecticide used in these operations is permethrin, an active ingredient approved by the US EPA for residential areas.
