Residents of the area around East Century Avenue have been updated on the progress of its ongoing reconstruction. According to Knife River Corporation, improvements are underway with significant developments expected in the coming months.
The temporary gravel roadway will remain until mid-August. Travelers are reminded to follow traffic control signage and stay alert while navigating the work zone.
Concrete curb and gutter installation and paving operations are now taking place on East Century Avenue. The southern two lanes have been paved from the western tie-in point up to Patriot Drive. To maintain traffic flow, Patriot Drive remains open, with paving resuming just east of this intersection and continuing past Stonewall Drive. Current efforts focus on paving through the Roosevelt Drive intersection before proceeding further eastward.
For questions or concerns about the project, residents can contact Andrew Osborn at 701-989-4959 or via email.
Andrew Osborn, Public Relations Coordinator for Knife River Corporation, acknowledged that road construction can disrupt daily routines but expressed appreciation for residents' understanding and cooperation during this period. "These enhancements aim to create a safer and more efficient transportation network for your community," he stated.
