Fatal rollover crash claims life of Mandan man in Morton County

A fatal crash occurred on July 5, 2025, at around 2:40 a.m. on County Road 139, approximately one mile west of Highway 25 in Morton County. The incident involved a single vehicle, a white 2015 Dodge Ram 3500, driven by Billy Dillman, aged 51 from Mandan.

According to reports, Dillman was traveling eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve. This resulted in the vehicle leaving the roadway and overturning in the north ditch. Dillman was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road and weather conditions were reported as good at the time of the accident. The crash is currently under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Agencies involved in responding to the incident included the Morton County Sheriff’s Office, Mandan Rural Fire, and Metro Ambulance.
