The Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library is hosting a summer outdoor used book sale on Friday, July 18, 2025. The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the Library Plaza. The Friends of the Bismarck Public Library are organizing the sale, where books will be available at $1.00 per pound, with other items priced separately.

Elizabeth Jacobs, Assistant Library Director, stated that this event offers an opportunity for individuals to purchase affordable summer reads while supporting library programs and services.

The sale is free and open to all ages, with media invited to attend as well. For more information about the event, interested parties can contact Elizabeth Jacobs at the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library.

Additional resources and details for media representatives are available online through the library's media kit at bismarcklibrary.org/2221/For-the-Media.

Kevin R. Tengesdal, Public Information Specialist for the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library, sent out this advisory.
