Bismarck City Offices and the landfill will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025, in observance of Independence Day. The landfill and Household Hazardous Waste & Electronics Center will resume operations on Saturday, July 5.
Residents are reminded to schedule their bulk item collection by July 14 for pickup on July 16. A service fee of $20 applies, along with disposal costs at the landfill. Crews will collect a maximum of five items per household. For more information, residents can contact Public Works at 701-355-1700, option 3.
The landfill operates Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and is closed on Sundays and designated holidays. The Household Hazardous Waste & Electronics Recycling Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
