Starting June 30, 2025, several streets near the 5-leg intersection will be closed for water line work. The closures include Ward Road between Avenue C and the tennis courts, Griffin Street between Avenue C and the tennis courts, and Avenue C between Griffin Street and Hannifin Street. Detour routes will utilize Parkview Drive, Avenue C, Griffin Street, Avenue B, and Hannifin Street.
The full closure is expected to last one week. After this period, the streets are planned to reopen to traffic with intermittent lane shifts as needed for about three more weeks. During the closure period, two-way traffic will be permitted on Avenue D—usually a one-way westbound—between Anderson Street and Hannifin Street.
