Bismarck library hosts cultural youth series in partnership with NDAAACI

Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library is set to host the "Know My Culture" youth series in collaboration with the North Dakota Asian-American Arts and Cultural Initiative (NDAAACI). This program aims to provide children and their families with an educational exploration of the cultures of India, China, South Korea, and the Philippines through stories, crafts, and movement.

The series will be held throughout July at the library's Children's Library Story Room. It begins on Thursday, July 10th at 5:00 pm focusing on India. The session dedicated to China will take place on Thursday, July 24th at 5:30 pm. South Korea will be featured on Tuesday, July 29th at 5:30 pm. The final session on Thursday, July 31st at 10:00 am will explore the culture of the Philippines.

The events are free and open to all children accompanied by their families. No registration is required for participation. Tiffany Towne, Children's Program Coordinator at Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library, can be contacted for additional information.

NDAAACI is a nonprofit organization that promotes Asian and Asian American arts and culture across North Dakota. More details about NDAAACI can be found on their website ndaaaci.org.
