The Bismarck Fire Department intervened this morning to rescue ducklings trapped in a storm sewer on the south side of Bismarck. The incident was reported by a concerned citizen around 10:00 AM on June 20, 2025.
Firefighters from Fire Station 2 were dispatched to the scene at the intersection of S 12th St and Tacoma Ave. They successfully retrieved all ten ducklings from the sewer, reuniting them with their mother who was nearby.
