A two-vehicle crash occurred on June 19, 2025, at the intersection of 112th Ave SE and 24th Street, approximately one mile east of Rogers. The incident involved a southbound 1994 Dodge Ram and a westbound 2012 Peterbilt semi-truck.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP), the Dodge Ram failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the rear passenger trailer tank of the Peterbilt in a T-bone style crash. The driver of the Dodge Ram, a 16-year-old female from Hannaford, was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained serious life-threatening injuries. She has not been identified due to her status as a juvenile.

The driver of the Peterbilt, a 68-year-old male from Eckelson, was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured in the collision. Both drivers' charges are still under investigation.

The NDHP is handling the investigation with assistance from the Barnes County Sheriff’s Department and Barnes County Ambulance. Road and weather conditions were reported as good at the time of the crash.
