Morton County has announced plans to update its website and is inviting residents to provide feedback through a short survey aimed at enhancing online information and services.

According to a news release, Morton County seeks public input to improve its website through a brief survey open until June 30, 2025. The survey asks residents about their website usage, the information they typically seek, and their experience finding needed content. It also invites suggestions for new online tools or improvements. Feedback is anonymous and aims to help the county enhance how it shares information and delivers services digitally. Participants can access the survey online and contribute to shaping the future of Morton County’s online presence.

The Morton County Commission serves as the county’s governing authority, managing county functions, addressing public concerns, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. It consists of five commissioners elected at large for four-year terms. Meetings are open to the public and take place at the Morton County Courthouse on the second Thursday and fourth Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. County governance follows regulations outlined in the North Dakota Century Code.

Raymond Morrell, a Morton County Commissioner since 2020, manages key county areas including information technology and the public information office. In addition to these responsibilities, Morrell oversees sheriff and judicial functions, veteran services, parks, finance, and community organizations. A Marine Corps veteran and construction project manager, he is actively involved in numerous local and national groups, serving in leadership roles across veterans’ organizations, historical societies, and civic boards.
