Motorcycle crash in Minot claims life of young driver

On June 14, 2025, a fatal motorcycle crash occurred in Minot on the 1600 block of 21st Avenue SE. The incident took place at approximately 11:25 a.m. local time under good road and weather conditions.

The crash involved a single vehicle, a 2015 Honda Motorcycle CBR650, driven by a 23-year-old male from Minot. The motorcycle was traveling westbound toward 6th Street SE when the driver lost control at high speed, resulting in a lane departure and collision with a fixed object. The driver was not wearing a helmet and sustained fatal injuries.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident. Agencies involved in responding to the crash include the Minot Police Department, Minot Fire Department, and Trinity First Response.
