Morton County crash under investigation after head-on collision

On Wednesday, June 11, at approximately 2:46 PM, a head-on collision occurred on Morton County Road 90, about 2.5 miles south of I-94 exit 97 near Hebron. The crash involved two vehicles: a 2003 Chevrolet Impala and a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pulling a trailer.

The driver of the Impala, a 48-year-old male from Hebron, sustained serious injuries. He was using his seatbelt, and the airbag deployed during the crash. The driver of the Silverado, a 49-year-old male from Bismarck, suffered minor injuries. He also had his seatbelt on, and the airbag deployed.

Both drivers were transported to Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck for treatment. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

Agencies responding to the scene included the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP), Morton County Sheriff’s Office, Hebron Ambulance, Glen Ullin Ambulance, Sanford AirMed, and Hebron Fire and Rescue.

The road conditions at the time were gravel with good weather conditions reported.
