Mandan Public School District announces sports physicals at Mandan High School

The Mandan Public School District has issued a reminder that Sanford Health will conduct a sports physical event at Mandan High School on Tuesday, June 10, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

According to Sanford Health, these sports physical events are designed for middle and high school students to ensure safe participation in sports and activities. The visits include a physical exam, review of health history, lifestyle assessment, and necessary immunizations. A $35 fee and a signed form are required, along with parental consent. Appointments are encouraged. Multiple sessions are planned throughout the Bismarck region in early June.

Mandan High School is located at 2335 4th Ave NW in Mandan, North Dakota (ND). It is led by Principal Mark Andresen with Assistant Principals Aaron Koenig and Alyssa Caya and Activities Director Mark Weist. The school admits students who have completed eighth grade with recommendations from their previous school. Transfer students must provide a satisfactory transcript and a North Dakota Department of Health Certificate of Immunization. New students must present proof of identification through student records or a certified birth certificate.

The Mandan Public School District's mission is to provide students with rigorous and personalized learning experiences while helping them develop social and emotional skills for success. According to the district's statement, the Mandan School Board consists of nine members serving as the policy-making body for the district during formally called meetings only. The Board sets policies, approves budgets, establishes goals manages property links the district with the public and serves on various committees focused on facilities finance policy personnel and student achievement under Superintendent Dr. Mike Bitz.
