The annual Buggies-n-Blues car show and music festival is set to take place in downtown Mandan from June 6 to June 8, 2025. The event will feature classic cars, live entertainment, and activities suitable for families at Main Street and Dykshoorn Park.

In preparation for the Sunday Car Show on June 8, Main Street will be closed from Third Ave NE to Sixth Ave NW starting at 2 a.m. until 5 p.m. that day. Temporary closures of Third Ave NE and Second Ave NE are also planned for vehicle staging; these avenues will reopen by 11 a.m. once staging is complete. All other avenues intersecting with Main Street within the closure area will remain inaccessible to traffic throughout the event. Additionally, temporary four-way stops will be installed at First Street's intersections with Third Ave NE and Third Ave NW to ensure safety.

"No parking" regulations will be enforced on Main Street, the south side parking lots of Main St., and intersecting avenues within the event zone beginning early Sunday morning. Vehicles parked illegally risk being towed to maintain clear access for participants and vendors.

Access via West Main Street will still be available for Runnings and the Morton Mandan Public Library users. Motorists are advised to use First Street as an alternative route, while truck drivers should plan accordingly.

Residents and visitors should anticipate increased pedestrian activity along Main Street and near Dykshoorn Park over the weekend, especially during Friday's and Saturday's events such as the Food Truck Festival and live performances leading up to Sunday's car show. Drivers are urged to exercise caution.
