The Bismarck Fire Department has announced the addition of three new firefighters to its team. Following the successful completion of the New Recruit Fire Academy, Miles Mainey, Taylor Schwede, and Clay Roberts have earned their Firefighter 1 certifications. This certification is a fundamental requirement for entry-level emergency response roles.

The department has assigned each firefighter to different shifts: Miles Mainey will join A Shift, Taylor Schwede will be part of B Shift, and Clay Roberts will work with C Shift.

In this training session, the Bismarck Fire Department collaborated with the Mandan Fire Department. Two new firefighters from Mandan, Hunter Beckert and Matthew Pazanin, trained alongside their Bismarck counterparts. The partnership aims to strengthen training consistency across both jurisdictions.

Both departments expressed gratitude for this collaboration and congratulated all recruits on completing their program. The new firefighters are expected to contribute significantly to both the Bismarck and Mandan Fire Departments.
