The Bismarck Mandan Chamber EDC was established in 2019 following the merger of the Bismarck Mandan Chamber of Commerce and BMDA. It focuses on policy advocacy, economic and workforce development, and leadership programs for its over 1,200 members. The organization acts as a connector and resource hub for businesses in Bismarck and Mandan, promoting economic growth through initiatives supported by volunteer committees in areas such as local issues and government affairs. Guidance is provided by a 19-member board of directors.
Mandan High School is located at 2335 4th Ave NW, Mandan, ND. It is led by Principal Mark Andresen with Assistant Principals Aaron Koenig and Alyssa Caya, along with Activities Director Mark Weist. The school admits students who have completed eighth grade with recommendations from their previous school. Transfer students must provide a satisfactory transcript and a North Dakota Department of Health Certificate of Immunization. New students are required to present proof of identification through student records or a certified birth certificate.
The mission of the Mandan Public School District is to offer students rigorous and personalized learning experiences while helping them develop social and emotional skills necessary for success. The district's School Board consists of nine members who serve as the policy-making body during formally called meetings. They set policies, approve budgets, establish goals, manage property, and link the district with the public.
