The Mandan Public School District has announced Stefanie Keidel of Fort Lincoln Elementary as the 2025 Outstanding Teacher of the Year for the Mandan Primary Division. This recognition comes from the Bismarck Mandan Chamber Economic Development Corporation (EDC).
Keidel, a special education teacher, was honored for her efforts in fostering an inclusive classroom environment, recognizing each student’s strengths, and engaging actively with families and after-school activities. The award is part of the Bismarck Mandan Chamber EDC’s 38th annual Outstanding Teacher of the Year awards.
The Bismarck Mandan Chamber EDC was established in 2019 through the merger of the Bismarck Mandan Chamber of Commerce and BMDA to focus on policy advocacy, economic and workforce development, and leadership programs for over 1,200 members. It serves as a connector and resource hub for businesses in Bismarck and Mandan, promoting economic growth through initiatives supported by volunteer committees in areas like local issues and government affairs, along with guidance from a 19-member board of directors, according to its website.
