Dickinson State University (DSU) acknowledges the significant contributions of its staff members whose dedicated service supports the institution's progress.

Dr. Ayodeji Arogundade, the Dean of the School of Business and Entrepreneurship, has been named the new Secretary of the IACBE Region 5. This region includes states such as Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. His appointment highlights his commitment to academic excellence and leadership in business education.

Assistant Professor Tim Kessel of Finance and Business provided insights for WalletHub’s article, “Compare Car Insurance Rates.” His expertise aimed at aiding consumers through a comparative analysis of auto insurance rates. The complete contribution of Professor Kessel is available in the article online.

The university also shares updates on promotions, new hires, and continued efforts from its team. Among those joining DSU is Michael Evenson, a custodian who previously worked with the Dickinson Public School System and briefly in animal control for the City of Dickinson. Evenson has returned to the educational environment, eager to contribute to the DSU community.

Additionally, Rachel Hornbarger has become part of the accounts payable team at DSU's Business Affairs Office. Originally from Winnemucca, Nevada, she taught at the junior high level before relocating to Dickinson. Hornbarger is enthusiastic about her new role and anticipates acquiring new skills.
