North Dakota's tourism industry, valued at $5.7 billion, will be highlighted in Minot from April 28 to 30 during the 2025 North Dakota Travel Industry Conference. The event, co-hosted by Visit Minot, DMAND, and the North Dakota Department of Commerce, aims to promote tourism education, collaboration, and innovation across the state.

Tourism in North Dakota is a significant industry, supporting over 43,000 jobs and more than 3,000 businesses. The conference is set to bring together destination marketers, small businesses, attractions, and hospitality professionals to foster connections, inspire new ideas, and generate enthusiasm for future growth.

The conference’s agenda addresses critical industry issues such as artificial intelligence in marketing, challenges in the rural workforce, and accessible travel. Participants will engage in city tours, networking activities, and attend a luncheon where Gov. Kelly Armstrong will present the Governor’s Awards for Travel and Tourism on Wednesday.

Keynote speakers at the event include Hunter Pinke, Josiah Brown, Cory Hepola, and Jennifer Stoll, each offering perspectives on mindset, branding, rural storytelling, and the economic impact of tourism.

Designed to provide real-world solutions and encourage statewide collaboration, the 2025 North Dakota Travel Industry Conference offers opportunities for learning and networking that extend beyond the event itself. The event is open to newcomers and experienced professionals alike.
