A rest area on Interstate 94 near Oriska, North Dakota, is set to close next week as part of a significant improvement project. Located two miles east of Oriska at mile marker 304, the rest area will close on Monday, April 28. The closure is expected to last until the fall of 2026.

The planned upgrade involves demolishing the current building and constructing a new facility. The parking lot will also be reconstructed to accommodate more trucks.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation advises motorists to exercise caution and reduce speed while passing through the work zone.
