The Planning & Zoning meeting commenced on April 24, 2025, at 7:00 PM with an agenda covering various permits and ordinance discussions. At the start, formalities included the pledge of allegiance and the roll call before the members approved the agenda and minutes from past meetings held on March 27 and April 15.
Treavor Hendrickson addressed the meeting about permit processes. This was followed by Beth Kohler's request for an extension concerning Permit #1032 (Shop). The session then moved on to discuss Conditional Use Permit #1053, involving Kortnie Smith and Cory Keating.
Building permits were a significant part of the meeting. Building Permit #1054 for a house was associated with Kortnie Smith and Cory Keating. Then, Building Permit #1061 was introduced for a garage in the name of Randy and Sarah Becker. Another house permit, Building Permit #1062, came up for Gene Weil and Nickolette Orgaard.
The meeting also delved into ordinance discussions on solar energy facilities, data centers/cryptocurrency mining facilities, and wind energy facilities.
